RESTRICTIONS

⚠️Maximum Weight Limit: 300 lbs per one person • up to 700 lbs combined per boat
⚠️Minimum Age: 6 years old • Participants Ages 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult on the same boat.
⚠️The following guests cannot participate:
• Pregnant women
• Guests with recent surgeries
• Guests with neck, back, arm or leg problems or casts
• Guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness
⚠️Other important notes:
• We cannot exceed 4 participants per boat (within the weight limit)
• All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.
• Guests that show signs of intoxication by Drugs or Alcohol will not be allowed to participate.
• You are responsible for sharing this information with the rest of your group and for notifying us ahead of time with any concerns about your health or physical condition for the excursion.

Driver minimum age: 18 years old | Passenger Minimum age: 6 years old
Maximum weight limit: 300 pounds per person and 700 pounds per boat
Order of destinations and amount of stops may vary depending on weather and marine conditions.
For sun protection please wear long sleeve shirts or biodegradable sunblock
We will have safe storage for your towels, extra clothing and valuables.
There are outdoor showers and free parking at Marina Puerto Chico
No Boating license is required
Not wheelchair accessible

This tour/activity will have a maximum of 2 travelers
Guest that have any heart conditions, back problems or recent surgeries wil NOT be able to participate on the tour due to safety.

Cancelation Policy

What if you need to cancel?

AS PER THE TOUR OPERATOR, Kayaking Puerto Rico, the Cancelation Policy is as follows.

There is a 48-hour cancellation policy. Up until 48 hours before your tour, you may change your reservation or cancel it for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure time, late arrivals, and “no-shows” will maintain a full charge. All cancellations must be made directly with Island Journeys by telephone or email.

This policy also applies to cruise ship passengers.

GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE GUESTS

Groups of 10 or more guests must cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the excursion in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations of groups made in less than 2 weeks prior to the excursion date will maintain a full charge on any spaces we are unable to resell. Guests that are no-shows or late arrivals will receive the full charge.

WEATHER RELATED CANCELATIONS

If we are forced to cancel a tour due to weather conditions, we will offer you the solution that better fits your needs, including rescheduling to another date, booking another tour, or full refund. However, be aware that we are the ones that determine the cancellations due to weather conditions. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to attend because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will still be charged if the trip goes out. If you ever have a question about the weather conditions, please call us to confirm.

PICK UP INFORMATION

Please note that there is a 15-minute maximum wait period for your pick-up, so it is very important that you are at the pick-up location on time. If for any reason you are delayed, please contact Island Journeys’ main office at 787-415-1560.

FINAL NOTE

Due to the unique nature and small size of our groups, we are forced to remain firm about our cancellation policy. Consider that on the day of your excursion we will be there, on site, waiting, and ready to serve you. Regardless of the cancellation reason, our time and fixed costs are already invested; we may even have turned down other customers by holding your space. Thank you for understanding!
